Legal
These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Mymir. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
Mymir is a wellness and food-logging tool for general informational purposes only. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical, nutritional, diagnostic, or treatment advice.
The health and nutrition guidance in the app is grounded in public guidance from bodies such as the World Health Organization, the U.S. Dietary Guidelines, the U.K. NHS, and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Sources are listed in the app under Sources & Science.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country and to meet the app's age rating. By using Mymir, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Account).
Mymir lets you log meals (by text, photo, or barcode), estimates their nutrition, computes a 0–100 nutrition score, surfaces eating patterns and insights, and provides an AI nutrition coach. Features, limits, and availability may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Some features rely on third-party services (including AI providers, app-store billing, and Apple Health); your use of those is also subject to the relevant third party's terms.
The app uses artificial intelligence to identify foods, estimate nutrition, and generate conversational responses. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading, may misidentify foods or portions, and must not be treated as professional advice (see the disclaimer above). You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information before relying on it.
Mymir offers a free tier with daily usage limits and an optional paid subscription, Mymir Pro, available as a monthly or annual plan, each with a 3-day free trial where offered.
You keep ownership of the content you submit (meals, photos, notes, messages). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and use that content solely to operate and improve the app for you (including sending it to our AI and hosting providers as described in the Privacy Policy). We claim no ownership of your content and do not sell it.
You agree not to use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose; reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the app or its systems; submit content that infringes others' rights; attempt to extract or manipulate the AI system's instructions; or resell or commercially exploit the app without our permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition estimates or insights will be accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves or the law changes. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide in-app notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
